Mix the Sodium Alginate and the 300ml water using a hand blender.
Place the mixture into a saucepan and bring it to a boil to allow the Alginate to hydrate and clarify.
Let the mixture cool down before using the quantity needed.
The remaining syrup can be kept in the fridge for other uses. Ensure your preparation is strong in flavour as the syrup will slightly dilute it. ‘’Alginate syrup’’ / ‘’rest of preparation’’ usually varies between 20 / 100 and 50 / 100.
