250g Strawberries
163g Sugar
Juice of 2 lemons
2g Special Ingredients Pectin Powder
Wash and hull the strawberries, before placing them into a pan with the lemon juice over a low heat.
Continually stir the mixture and gradually add the Pectin Powder, then bring the mixture to the boil.
Once boiling, add the sugar then bring the mixture back to the boil for around 10 minutes on a low heat.
Pour into a container and leave for the jam to set.
With any jam recipe, if the set is too loose the mixture can be brought back to the boil, before adding more Special Ingredients Pectin Powder to reach the desired consistency.
