Create a spreadable vegan cheese with Special Ingredients Nutritional Yeast Flakes.

200g Sunflower Seeds
200ml Water
150g Canola oil (has a neutral flavour - other oils will work fine but will impart a flavour)
6g Special Ingredients Nutritional Yeast
3g Special Ingredients Vegi Gel
Citric Acid
4g Salt
3g Onion Powder
Place water in a saucepan and warm, then add Vegi Gel whilst constantly stirring. Heat to boiling point and stir until all the Vegi Gel is dissolved.
Blend Vegi Gel mixture with all the other ingredients in a wide high-speed blender, taste and add a little more acidity or salt to personal taste.
Allow 1 – 2 hours to set, store in a refrigerator in a tight sealed container for up to 7 days.
Use as a general spread or mix with coconut cream and icing sugar (or alternative sweetener) to make a cheesecake mix. Add 1-2% Easy Whip to maintain stability.
