Create delicious Banana and Peanut Butter Bread using Special Ingredients Madagascan Vanilla Extract and Bicarbonate of Soda.
Special Ingredients
3 large ripe bananas and 1 extra for garnishing
1 tbsp Peanut Butter
2 large eggs
½ cup brown sugar
½ cup melted butter
1 tsp Special Ingredients Madagascan Bourbon Vanilla Extract
1 ½ cups cake flour
1tsp Special Ingredients Bicarbonate of Soda
1tsp baking powder
1tsp cinnamon
½ tsp nutmeg
Preheat oven to 180C. Grease or line a bread pan and set aside.
Mash 3 bananas (remember to reserve the fourth banana for garnishing) and whisk together with all wet ingredients until incorporated.
In a separate bowl, whisk together all dry ingredients then fold dry mixture into the wet mixture until combined.
Pour batter into prepared pan. Slice the fourth banana lengthwise and place decoratively on top of the batter.
Bake for 25 minutes or until a skewer comes out clean or with a few crumbs.
