What is Maltitol Powder?

Our Maltitol Powder is a medium particle size bulk sweetener, which is produced from naturally occurring compounds in wheat and maize. It is naturally sweet and provides the foundation for product innovation, it intensifies the flavour and improves the nutritional value, all without a major change in recipes or manufacturing processes. Commonly used in baked products, ice cream, chocolate, desserts and confectionery to prevent recrystallization of sugars and increase the shelf life. It can also be used for its freezing point depression abilities. Maltitol Powder is a sweetener that can be used as a sugar substitute, it has 75-90% sweetness of sucrose.
